Our Community Library is more than a place to access books—it is a welcoming space where children, youth, and families can learn, explore, and develop a lifelong love of reading.
In partnership with the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation, we continue to strengthen the reading culture in Azraq through accessible, community-based literacy programs designed for learners of all ages. Our programs include adult literacy classes, reading sessions for mothers and children, and Arabic and English reading clubs that encourage participants to read, share ideas, and build stronger language and comprehension skills.
The library also provides a safe and engaging environment where community members can discover new interests, develop confidence, think critically, and connect with others through learning. By making reading and educational resources more accessible, we aim to help address learning gaps while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning. Today, the library serves as a community hub for knowledge, learning, and connection, helping children and families in Azraq build the skills and confidence they need to shape their futures.
